Nearly $17,000 Raised for Higher Education and Training

On Saturday, the spirit of community and education was alive and thriving in Three Rivers, Michigan. The third annual Run for the Future event, organized by the Three Rivers Promise, successfully raised nearly $17,000 to help fund college and vocational education for Three Rivers High School graduates.

The event featured a 5K run and a one-mile fun run, bringing together local runners, families, and sponsors for a common cause: ensuring that students in the community have the financial support they need to pursue higher education and training.

Fastest Runners of the Day

The event showcased some impressive athletic talent. Ellie Reed from Mendon was the fastest female runner, completing the 5K course with a time of 25:10.2. Eli Drallette from Climax led the male runners, finishing with a time of 23:22.5. Their dedication and speed set the pace for a day full of enthusiasm and determination.
